Cheaper domestic flights in Uzbekistan from 16 October
From 16 October 2026, flying between Tashkent and the Silk Road cities costs less. Uzbekistan Airways has cut fares on its regular domestic flights, and for a classic route that saves you a long day on the road.
What the new fares look like
One-way fares from Tashkent, as published by Uzbekistan Airways on 2 October 2026, start at:
- Samarkand, Fergana, Andijan, Namangan: from 201,062 so'm
- Bukhara: from 241,274 so'm
- Termez: from 361,911 so'm
- Urgench (for Khiva) and Nukus: from 442,336 so'm
These are starting prices. The cheapest seats go first, and each fare has its own rules for baggage and changes.
Who gains the most
Travellers heading west. Khiva is the farthest stop on most itineraries, and a flight to Urgench turns it into a short hop. We often plan it this way: fly out to Urgench, then return east by rail through Bukhara and Samarkand. How the trains work is in our train guide.
Where to buy
Tickets at the new fares are sold on the airline's website, in its mobile app, at Uzbekistan Airways offices and through official agents.
