Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur: four flights a week and an extra bag
Travellers from Malaysia get more flights and more room for luggage. From late October 2026 Uzbekistan Airways flies between Tashkent and Kuala Lumpur four times a week, and on this route it adds a free extra bag.
The schedule
Flights from Tashkent leave on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with morning, evening and night departures to choose from.
The extra bag
On Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur–Tashkent tickets booked by 27 March 2027 you get one more piece of checked baggage: up to 32 kg on the Comfort fare and up to 23 kg on the Smart fare. Tickets are sold on booking.uzairways.com and in the Uzbekistan Airways app.
Why it matters
Malaysia is one of our fastest-growing markets: in January–September 2026 the number of visitors from Malaysia grew 1.9 times. That extra bag is welcome on the way home, after the carpets, suzani and ceramics of the bazaars in Bukhara and Samarkand.
Our advice: fly in, spend a day in Tashkent, then take the fast train to Samarkand. See how it works in our train guide, or pick a route in the tour finder.
In short
- Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur: four flights a week from late October 2026.
- Extra checked bag: 32 kg (Comfort) or 23 kg (Smart).
- The offer covers tickets booked by 27 March 2027.
