Bukhara is getting its first Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn, plus a congress hall

Bukhara is about to get its first hotels from international chains. A Hilton Garden Inn and a Holiday Inn (InterContinental Hotels Group) are under construction in the city, next to a new congress hall. Total investment is US$136.6 million, UzDaily reported on 3 November 2026.

What is being built

• Hilton Garden Inn: seven storeys, 212 rooms. The main structure is finished; inside walls, engineering systems and the facade are now in progress.
• Holiday Inn: seven storeys, 212 rooms, with a two-storey business centre next door.
• Congress hall: 14,500 m². The main concrete work is done; the facade, roof and outside utilities are under way.

Hilton already runs 10 hotels in Uzbekistan, in Tashkent and Samarkand. IHG has one hotel in Tashkent. Opening dates have not been announced yet.

What it means for your trip
